I extensively explored the northern Tanzanian safari circuit in November, including 25 safari camps as well as 4 hotels in and around Arusha with Kilimanjaro on route. What a tour! The 8 days were filled with unforgettable moments, including a visit on route to an authentic Masai Village, where I observed the traditions of these nomadic people. Rising in a hot air balloon during sunrise over the Serengeti, simply 1,5 hours of pure goosebumps. From a mere 10/15m altitude buffalo herds or hippos are observed from a bird’s eye view…unbelievable! Over the past 3 years a personal highlight on my travels!

Visiting camps on route some new discoveries were made specifically leaving a lasting impression was the Siringit Serengeti Camp by Mantiswith 10 stylish and modern equipped luxury tents, in the middle of the bush!

An absolute classic is Elewana’s Pioneer Camp, the camp is ideally located in a landscape nestled within hills, evenings lions and hyenas can be heard around the camp!

Gibb‘s Farm, located not far from the Ngorongoro Crater Rim is a definite must on your itinerary if Tanzania is on your bucket list for 2022 or 2023! Unique and surrounded by coffee plantations it truly feels like travelling back in time – splendid!
