Anke Rochau OwnerAnke Rochau, born and raised in the historic Rattenfängerstadt of Hameln, has spent a significant part of her life in cities such as Münster, Frankfurt, and Hannover, working for renowned tourism companies such as DER and TUI. She has gained valuable experiences in different fields of the tourism industry. Inspired by her passionate enthusiasm for Africa and after numerous journeys through the southern part of the continent, the tourism expert relocated to Cape Town in 2003. Anke has turned her personal passion for travel into her profession, meticulously planning private trips, Incentives, and group bookings with utmost care and individuality, infused with creativity and attention to detail.
With an impressive professional experience of over 35 years and a comprehensive knowledge of various travel destinations, hotels, and lodges, Anke possesses the expertise to captivate guests with the allure of Southern Africa.
In addition to crafting tailored private journeys, Anke has also orchestrated unforgettable stays for numerous VIPs, ministerial delegations, and esteemed companies. Her extensive network plays a pivotal role in her success. Even after all these years, Anke considers it an honor when guests entrust her to help create their most precious time of the year—their vacation.

Sarah Sinn Office Management & Travel DesignerOur colleague Sarah Sinn was born and raised in South Africa and has Austrian roots. During her youth, she deepened her understanding of various cultures through family and educational trips across Europe, sparking a lifelong passion for travel. She joined our team while studying tourism, which provided her with valuable insights and opportunities for growth within the travel industry.
Over time, Sarah has expanded her knowledge of South Africa and East Africa. Her explorations extend beyond the Garden Route and Eastern Cape, the Kruger National Park and Madikwe Game Reserve. She has also extensively explored Tanzania to provide personalized advice to our guests.
Today, Sarah not only works as a travel planner but also supports office management, showcasing her versatility and organizational skills.
Sarah’s goal is to continue growing and learning every day. Her passion lies in curating the perfect journey for our guests, creating vacations that truly embody the motto “Turning Moments into Memories”.

Sherry Engelbrecht AccountantSherry grew up in various regions of South Africa, including the Eastern Cape and Gauteng, and at the age of 20, she embarked on an exciting adventure in Europe, exploring beautiful sights and immersing herself in different cultures. She fell head over heels in love with Germany and visited the country multiple times.
Sherry began her career as a junior bookkeeper and has since worked in various finance positions. She is now a freelance colleague.
Currently residing in Cape Town, Sherry actively engages with her local community through participation in charitable initiatives. Whether it’s summer or winter, you can often find her in the open sea, swimming and having a great time with friends.
Sherry supports our team as a part-time bookkeeper, combining her extensive skills and experience with her enthusiasm for her profession.

Katharina Wittenbrink Office ManagementGrown up in Germany’s Ruhr region, Katharina discovered her passion for travel after finishing school during a gap year in Australia. Since then, she has explored many countries across Europe, continually deepening her enthusiasm for new places and cultures.
In 2023, her journey led her to Cape Town – initially for just six months, but she quickly fell in love with the city, its people, and the breathtaking nature. Her goal: to make Cape Town her long-term home.
After completing her training in the hospitality industry, Katharina gained extensive experience in customer service and office management. She worked for several years at Deutsche Bahn and later took on a management position at a 4-star hotel in Austria. Alongside this, she built a second career as a virtual assistant. These diverse roles have further honed her organizational skills, communication abilities, and attention to detail.
At Inspiration Afrika, she is responsible for office management. Open communication, honest exchange, and mutual respect are, for her, the foundation of successful collaboration – both within the team and with our guests.
INSPIRATION AFRICA is a proud member of the Southern Africa Tourism Service Association (SATSA), a non-profit association representing the private Tourism Sector.
SATSA Members, e.g. hotels, tour operators and airlines, have to conform to the highest standards (credibility, stability, integrity) in the Tourism Industry, which are checked on a regular basis.
