New discoveries around Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park

In May, Anke explored numerous lodges and hotels around Victoria Falls and Chobe National Park / Botswana. The area around Victoria Falls is developing rapidly and offers a wide range of new accommodation options, preparing for the increasing number of international visitors. A particularly memorable highlight was her stay at Old Drift Lodge on the Zambezi River. The fantastic location, outstanding service, and top-notch cuisine made for an unforgettable experience!

Other highlights included a helicopter flight over the majestic Victoria Falls, which gave Anke goosebumps, and a sundowner at the Four-Country-Corner.

Chobe Chilwero Lodge in Chobe National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and buffalo, was also one of Anke’s favourites. The exceptional activities and luxurious comfort were particularly impressive.
