Kenya is once again ‘IN’ as a safari destination
Kenya is on everyone’s lips. Not only due to the recent dreamlike images and impressions from the new Disney film Lion King, but also the political climate in this country has once again stabilised offering guests a unique experience.
Our tip is Naboisho Camp, bordering the Masai Mara National Park in a private 210km² large conservancy area! A top location: National Geographic often films wild cat documentaries in the lodge vicinity and even the Disney team spent time in this region to serve as inspiration for the film! The camp only has nine tented suites, including two family tents, as well as a refreshing pool to ensure personalised service.
The best travel time is during the months of the Great Migration, from July to November when non-stop zebras and wildebeest trek through the area, the rest of the year one can also experience sublime resident lion and leopard sightings. With the location of Naboisho in a private concession night drives and bushwalks are also offered, which offers a major advantage.
We suggest a journey in combination with the recently renovated sister camp Namiri Plains in the Central Serengeti, goosebumps are guaranteed.
