More flight connections to Cape Town and the Southern Africa region

The amount and frequency of flight connections has increased considerably since our last communication to you.

Since February 2022 BA has reintroduced its very popular and convenient direct flight BA059 from London Heathrow to Cape Town, this on board their flagship Boeing 747-400. This flight operates daily to provide guests around the globe a seamless connection to the Western Cape and beyond.

Both United & Delta Airlines are competing fiercely for the direct route ex US to Cape Town set to start November 2022, just in time for South Africa’s next high season. Both airlines are already operating their direct flight to/from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport.

Eurowings Discover, the Lufthansa sister airline already flies daily from Frankfurt to Windhoek with an A330-300. Since March 30th, after a short stop in Namibia, connecting 3 times a week short flight to Zimbabwe’s Victoria Falls. Elephants, zebras, and lions in the wild are now only a few hours away. November 2022 sees the introduction, also by Eurowings Discover, of a much-anticipated flight departing Germany via Windhoek to Kruger. Making history this will be the first airline outside of Southern Africa to service the Kruger Mpumalanga Airport operating 3 times a week.
