Here you can see elephants, hippos, wildebeest, buffalo, lions, and even packs of wild dogs; roughly 300 pangolins have been counted. Up to 400 bird species can also be observed – and you'll practically have the park to yourself!

The capital city of Maputo, with approximately 1.1 million inhabitants, still shows the influence of the Portuguese colonial era. Elegant architecture, palm-lined coastal streets, lively markets, and a vibrant nightlife with Fado singing characterize the cityscape.
